Summer Maths Puzzles - Home Page

#SummerMathsPuzzles

Each weekday throughout August we will be publishing a new maths-based puzzle.  They won't require sophisticated maths to solve, but equally they won't be easy. Discussing your ideas might help.

We hope that you'll enjoy solving them with family, friends and colleagues and we ask that you share them either by forwarding this link: bit.ly/summermathspuzzles, or via our social media (see below).

facebook.com/newton.institute | twitter.com/NewtonInstitute | instagram.com/isaacnewtoninstitute

The answers for each puzzle will be given at the end of the month and, unless requested otherwise, for each puzzle we will publish the winners, the names of the individuals or groups who submit the first few correct answers.

The links for each puzzle are below and will become live on the relevant day:

Please email your answers to deputy-director[at]newton.ac[dot]uk and remember to include your name (or the name of the group that you solved the puzzle with) so that we can publish it on our website if you are one of the first few to successfully solve the problem.

Please be aware that until Monday 19 August replies to each submission may be slightly delayed due to INI staff annual leave, but do be reassured that each message is read and greatly appreciated.
